Description

Hirata style: cream body and ginger rooster hackle, easy to see in dark water and a great imitation of pale mayflies.

The Futsu Kebari has a straight rooster hackle, perpendicular to the shank: the stiff fibres keep it riding on the surface and let it work as a wet fly too. It is the ‘standard’ kebari of the Japanese tradition, simple and effective on any mountain stream.
