Description

The pattern from the Takayama region: cream body and light ginger hackle, perfect during pale mayfly hatches and in slightly coloured water.

The Sakasa Kebari is the iconic tenkara fly: the forward-facing hackle opens and closes with every pull of the line, giving the fly a pulsing action that trout find hard to ignore. Fish it on the surface, just below it or in mid-water with short, rhythmic pulses.
