The Chartreuse White Shad Flies is a fly dedicated to shad (allis shad) fishing, in vivid chartreuse and white tones. Hand-tied in Italy, it is offered in sets of 3 flies.
The chartreuse and white colors and the bright inserts act as a strong attractor for the shad, a migratory fish that runs up rivers and estuaries in spring and strikes out of reaction rather than hunger. Fished with jerky strips at mid-water, it is effective in freshwater and brackish water. Available in hook sizes from #6 to #10.
