Description

The Pleco CDC Dry Fly imitates the adult stonefly, an insect typical of fast-flowing, well-oxygenated water, much sought after by trout and grayling. Hand-tied in Italy with selected CDC, it is offered in sets of 3 flies.

The natural CDC fibres ensure high, long-lasting floatation, supporting the stonefly’s robust profile well even in fast currents. The realistic posture and volume of the imitation make it effective as an attractor pattern during stonefly hatches.

Available in hook sizes from #8 to #14, it is designed to imitate medium-to-large stoneflies. Tied according to FIPS Mouche regulations.
