Description

The Mayfly Crippled Dry Fly imitates the Ephemera danica in its vulnerable hatching phase, when it struggles to free itself from the shuck. Hand-tied in Italy, it is offered in sets of 3 flies.

The cripple profile reproduces the large mayfly in difficulty on the water’s surface, an easy and slow-moving prey that trout select decisively during May hatches. FIPS approved. Available in hook sizes from #8 to #20.
