Description

The Black Ant Wet Fly imitates the drowned black ant, a terrestrial that often ends up underwater during the warm months. Hand-tied in Italy, it comes in sets of 3 flies.

The two-segment profile reproduces the ant dragged below the surface, an easy prey that trout key in on decisively, especially in summer stillwater. It’s deadly when retrieved slowly just under the surface film. Available in hook sizes from #8 to #16.

Strengths:
• Drowned black ant imitation
• Realistic two-segment profile
• Deadly in summer stillwater
• Hooks #8-#16, Made in Italy

The Black Ant Wet fools trout feeding on drowned terrestrials.
